NIGERIA ORDERED BY ECOWAS COURT TO PAY SAMBO DASUKI 15 MILLION NAIRA

Late last year, Dasuki had gone to the ECOWAS court to ask for 500 million Naira damages for being wrongly imprisoned.
However, he was eventually awarded 15 million Naira as damages by the court.
Unfortunately, I doubt if the Nigerian government will abide by this judgment. The government could not obey the judgment of its own local courts, how then will it obey international courts with no effective means of enforcement? It will simply hide under the guise of sovereignty.
