In an earlier article titled;THOUGHTS ON THE US ELECTION, I discussed how Trumps verbal misfirings were causing his popularity to wane.
One of such statements was that he promised to deport all undocumented immigrants from the US. The estimated number of such immigrants is eleven million.
In a surprising turn of events, today the new campaign manager for Trump, Kellyanne Conway stated that he (Trump) would find a way to legalize them rather than deport them. Earlier on Saturday, Trump, while speaking with Hispanic supporters, stated that deporting the undocumented immigrants was neither possible nor humane. The issue here is whether he means what he is saying or whether he is just saying it to win back support.
