THE NFF AND FINANCE

Was former Super Eagles Coach Sunday Oliseh right after all that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) violateviolate

d the terms of contract and did not pay him?
Last year Sunday Oliseh suddenly resigned as coach alleging that he had been owed his financial benefits for several months and that he had been using his personal money for things meant to be funded by the NFF. The NFF itself denied the claims threatening to sue Oliseh for breach of contract. Fast forward to the Olympics where our dream team face several financial challenges including not paying for its hotel bills until Captain Mikel Obi bailed them out. He was eventually refunded his money.
Recently, the Court of Arbitration on Sports (CAS) ordered the NFF to pay all outstanding entitlements to Sunday Oliseh's assistant, Jean Luscito, including five months salary and the promised rented apartment among others. This seems to justify Oliseh's claims against NFF. Does this mean that the NFF is not financially buoyant? Whatever the case, a lot of funds must be allocated to sporting activities if we expect to see any positive result.
