NIGERIA; MY REFLECTIONS

October 1st, 1960 is the date Britain granted Nigeria independence. Nigeria, a 'forced marriage' between hitherto separate and independent kingdoms and communities. A country with a deeply divided North and South.

The budget padding controversy is certainly not over. Honourable Abdulmumin Jibrin had accused the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara and many other members of the House of Representatives of padding the 2016 budget.
