Yesterday, other officials of both factions met and discussed peace moves. They have resolved to set up a joint reconciliation committee. This is a good step for the PDP after a series of court cases and abuse of court process. The cases can be called off and they can go to work. However, what will happen to the factional candidates of the PDP in Edo and Ondo states? One of them will surely be dropped. Anyway, it is good for our democracy as it will ensure that a vibrant opposition is created.
